Trademark registration procedure:
Priority documents must be filed within three months of the date of application. However, at the time of application, the convention date and the priority application number shall be provided. Afterwards, the application is usually examined approximately 7-14 months by the Israel Patent Office taking into consideration that accelerated examination is applicable. During examination, the examiner may object to the registration of the proposed mark on either “relative grounds” (e.g. similar earlier trademarks) and “absolute grounds” (e.g. non-distinctiveness), or require amendments and/or clarifications regarding the proposed mark or goods/services concerned. Upon Acceptance, the application is published in the Trademarks Journal at the beginning of each month. Then, in the absence of any opposition within three months, the mark matures to registration. A certificate of registration is issued within approximately three months. The trademark registration is valid for 10 years.

Trademark registration procedure:
Once a trademark application is filed, it is examined by the Trademark office within 90-120 days. During the examination period, the TMO will issue a decision to either accept or reject the application. If the application was provisionally refused, replies to office actions shall be submitted within 30 days from the official notification date. If no prior rights exist or if the registrar has no comments or objections, primary approval will be issued and a filing number will be allocated to the application. The publication fees should be settled within 30 days from the official notification date, otherwise the application will be considered withdrawn. The application will then be published in the official gazette for a period of three months. Any interested third party can oppose the publication of the trademark application within 90 days from the date of publication. The applicant has 30 days from the official notification date to file a reply to oppositions, otherwise the application will be considered withdrawn. If no opposition is filed against the said trademark application, the trademark shall be registered and the registration certificate will be issued granting protection for 10 years from the date of filing and it is renewable for periods of 10 years.

If the trademark is accepted the registrar waits for the decision of the Israeli Boycott Department to check whether the applicant is on the boycott list or not. The trademark will be registered after paying the registration fees. There is no provision for opposition, trademark registration is valid for 15 years as of the trademark registration date, and renewable for similar periods of 15 years.

The Bahraini Trademark Office declared on November 18, 2014 under directives numbered MS/14/34-1 that as of the said date onwards it is permitted under the practice of the Bahraini Trademark Registrar to file trademark applications and obtain filing number and date as well as the official filing certificate without the required documents which can be submitted within a non-extendable term of 90 days from the date of first office action; or else their applications will be declared abandoned. Trademark registration procedure:
Once a trademark application is filed, the trademark is examined as to its registrability. If the trademark is accepted, it will then be Published in the Official gazette and one local newspaper for a period of 2 months. During the publication period any third party can oppose the application. If the opposition period lapsed with no oppositions, the trademark will be registered after paying the registration fees, trademark registration is valid for 10 years as of the date of filing the application, renewable for similar periods of 10 years.

Trademark registration procedure:
Once a trademark application is filed noting that it is applicable to file a scanned copy of the legalized POA along with the application, the TMO examines the application in terms of, formalities, absolute Grounds (inherent registrability of a trademark) and relative Grounds (conflict with prior trademark rights). If the trademark is application is rejected after examination, a time extension of the appeal is not possible. Otherwise, if the trademark is accepted, it will then be Published online in the Official Website (AAMALY) for a period of 2 months. During the publication period any third party can oppose the application. If the opposition period lapsed with no opposition, the trademark will be registered after paying the registration fees, trademark registration is valid for 10 hijri years as of the date of filing the application, renewable for similar periods of 10 hijri years.

- A certified copy of the priority application within 6 months, if priority is claimed

- Representation of the trademark, in (BMP, JPG, TIF) format.
- Ten prints of the trademark for each class.

Trademark registration procedure:
Once the trademark application is submitted to the Egyptian Trademarks Office, it will be subject to the examination by specialized examiners. During the examination process, the Trademark Office may request some amendments to the application. The examination phase shall take around 8 months in normal cases. At the end of the examination period, the examiner will issue a decision either accepting or rejecting the registration of the trademark. If the decision of the Trademarks Office was acceptance, the trademark will enter the second phase "Publication". Upon the publication of the trademark in the official Gazette, any third party can oppose the publication of said trademark. If no opposition takes place during the 2-month period, the trademark shall be registered, and the registration certificate will be issued within 2 weeks. A trademark registration is valid for 10 years from the date of filing and it is renewable for periods of 10 years.
